What's your niche?

I would have to say - layouts. I love details, patterns and organization, so arrangement of text and images will have to be my strongest suit. If you're curious - graphics would come second, and the last will always be web design. I'd prefer to write articles too, than suffer through #codingtrauma!

What was your first big project?

All projects are big, in my heart. Honestly, they take so much out of me that's why I repeatedly confess my inability to take up this profession 24/7. Hence, my 'other' life.

Back to the question. My first big project was for a singer I love, Lani Misalucha. The 17-year-old me was beyond thrilled to be asked to put up her first fan page. Within the same year, I finished coding her official site. And some more years after that, my first full flash site. I was her web designer for 10 long years. And so to me, Lani's site will always be 'the one that started it all', and therefore, the biggest project of my life.

If I want to work with you in the future,
what would I need to know?

That I did not go to finishing school for this. I have a BS and MA as a health professional, but not for this. While I can't debate lengthily with you on technicalities, I rely heavily on industry experience, on which my design know-how and aesthetics are anchored. I welcome detailed instructions because I respect my clients' vision. But please, respect my interpretation, as well. I also need time to work, and instant can't always be possible.

Just in case, how much do you charge?

Depends on how much you want me to do, in how little a time, and how much of an impact the project is targeted to make. And yes, I do pro bono work for church organizations, shared advocacies, and other initiatives to make the world a better place.
